Are we finally coming to our senses and recognising that adult psychological bullying is one of the most destructive forces at work today?
The recent correct public furore over the abuse of power and position shown by politicians, broadcasters and organisational chiefs indicates that we are at last becoming aware of the damage caused by bullying behaviours and rightly reacting strongly to it.
Human beings have never existed in peace and harmony, we continually jostle for position, power and dominance over each other, where impulses and urges to conquer and be cruel are given into by many on a daily basis and viewed as acceptable and funny. But at what cost?
Turning a blind eye or a deaf ear is no longer an option, It is time to speak out against this insidious practice in our workplaces without fear of reprisals, in the hope that it will start to achieve radical changes in our behavioural culture, as without constant effort, no advance will ever roll in on the wheels on inevitability.
